[Do you know what a wind user does in the rain? She kicks up one hell of a localized storm just outside the village. She's no waterbender, but she's seeing if she can concentrate enough on those gusts of wind to send the water in whatever direction she deems necessary.

It's not all that productive -- after all, raindrops aren't the best weapon -- but focusing on her control is always good training.

Besides, she's just happy to play in the rain.

Later, she'll be found wandering the village, soaking wet and not going in any particular direction. She might stop in the bakery for something sweet and she'll be popping into Good Spirits a little later for something bracing to drink.

She'll even address the village at large, via an unfiltered message in the journal:]

I love the rain.

[So sue her. She's actually in a good mood.]

People just really really don't want me to get sick. But I'm not even getting wet, see? [[The back of her hand is glowing.]]

[Temari's mildly interested look sharpens into something very genuinely interested. She blinks at the rain -- or the lack thereof -- and gives the girl a wide-eyed look before she schools her features into something a little less surprised.]

Guess you really don't need an umbrella, huh?

Nope! And walking around like this feels really nice too! [She wiggles her toes in the mud.]]

Oh! You're getting wet too. Here! [[She steps closer and extends her little circle over Temari too.]]

[Temari was about to answer that first comment when the girl started teleporting the rain away from her. She blinked, somewhere between surprised and impressed.]

Where are you sending the rain?

I... [[she stares blankly for a moment, just her expression at being surprised like this.]] I don't know... I wasn't thinking about where when I started.

Maybe I should teleport it to the lake... [[And the casting stops for a moment, then everything seems to be corrected!]]

You didn't think... [Oh. How can someone not think of something like that?]

Well. I hope you weren't accidentally drenching some poor soul.

I hope I was just teleporting it outside... [[She looks decidedly saddened.]]

[And Temari, sensitive soul that she is, just laughs at the sad look.] It'd be funny though.

It would? But raining inside...

[[She considers this actually.]] That is pretty silly. Hopefully it was someone who won't get upset over it!

I remember once, I teleported a pig on top of this really evil general. All the fighting stopped when it happened.

[She stops, blinks, and then abruptly bursts into laughter.] Okay, that's a trick I should learn.

It stopped the fighting for a minute, yeah? Then it's worth it. [Definitely could use something like that as one hell of a distraction, before you go in for the kill.]

Well... that's true... I don't know if I can teach teleporting. I use a rune, see? [[And she shows the back of her hand.]]

I see. That's very interesting. Can you teleport yourself, or just the things around you?

I can teleport me, and other people, together. I used to do it to get my friends between towns.

Runes are... but mine's the only Blinking Rune I've ever seen...

Well, it's not that really. I think this is the only Blinking Rune ever... Maybe it's even a True Rune... but Jeanne said it wasn't...
