[There's nothing much on the page. Temari only taps her pen against the paper -- dot, dot, dot -- for several long moments before she finally writes something.] Tell me: Is family still family when they are worlds apart?
[Perhaps a little introspective for her normal tastes and somewhat revealing to her mental state, but... Well. She'll take a few outside opinions this time. Some days she just misses her brothers. This evening, it's particularly sharp. That, and she's tired. A bit sore. Unwilling to walk back to the apartment just yet. All in all, it doesn't make for a good mood, after being gone for so long. She's not even sure how long it has been.]
[She doesn't go home after returning to the village: she finds some clean clothes in the shop, forgoes food entirely, and instead wraps herself in a good coat she found and takes a slow walk as night falls. She'll be all over town, eventually easing toward the edges of the forest. (Yes, at night. In the cold. It's probably not the smartest plan.)]

Are you armed?
[He knows she doesn't have her fan. It's still in the apartment over.]

We can talk about it when you get back.
[written | private]
If you want to meet somewhere, it's either your place or mine. I'm sitting down when I get in.
[written | private]
I'll meet you at your place.

Fifteen minutes.

[Which is code for take as long as you want. He'll only be there on time because he doesn't have much else better to do.]

Except not really. She just doesn't answer the journal. It's all of thirteen minutes later when she drags herself home.
Shivering, because it's cold out there.]

But yes, he's just sitting in here on her couch, idly watering a plant with a glass of water and somehow managing to look brooding even over that.]
Yo.
[action]
And she sinks into the couch, lifting one hand in a half-wave.] What's going on?
[action]
A member of the Akatsuki showed up while you were gone.
[action]
Oh, good. Which one?
[action]
[action]
... Well. It's a bit personal for one of her friends.]
Hidan?
[Maybe she misread the name. She rather doubts it.]
[action]
[He knows Konoha and Suna shared intel on the Akatsuki, but he's not sure how much she would've looked into it.]
[action]
[action]
Be extra cautious. He's a moron, but he wasn't picked by the Akatsuki for his math skills.

He looks away, chin in hand, and decides it'd be more troublesome to deal with the drama of avoiding the question than to actually go into it.]
The one who defeated him is me.
