[012] Accidental Voice

[Temari only brings her journal along to the kitchen because she doesn't like to be out of touch. Had she known it would fall open and start recording at the least opportune time, she would have left it in her apartment.

There's a series of clanging and clanking, shattering glass, and a startled exclamation from Temari. There's silence for a moment, then another loud clank followed by a soft yelp.

... Dinner is pretty much a bust.]

[ Oh.. This is... rather embarrassing. Tenten just calmly puts down her foot and instead stares at Temari. ]

I heard you shout. Is everything okay? What happened? [ Tenten's more natural curiosity begins to take over as she inspects the broken glass. ]

[Temari rocks back on her heels and shrugs one shoulder.] I dropped things.

[Just want you wanted to see, Tenten: Temari being human.]

[ Tenten's face flashes into this state out of mortification and shock. This is what she dramatically broke into her own communal kitchen for? ]

Do you need any help picking them up? [ She'll crouch with Temari and begin to pick up the shards.

SHE KNEW IT. SHE KNEW SHE WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG. TEMARI IS HUMAN. AHAHAHAHAHAHA.. ]

I wouldn't turn it away. [She stands and dumps the shards she's picked up into the trash. She grabs a towel and starts trying to mop up the (quickly cooling) hot water pooled on the floor.

Her teapot, man... ]

Glad to hear it. [ Tenten begins to pick up the shards nimbly but she does look at them for a bit. ] Do you think these could be sharpened into some type of fine projectiles? What are they made out of anyways? [ oh... Tenten... you are the most tactless type of help ever. ]

[Temari raises a brow.] It used to be a ceramic teapot.

[weaponry]

Was it one from home? [ Ceramics are not good weapons to stab people with! ]

Nah, just something I found in the item shop a couple months ago.

Well then, at least we can find a new one. [ scooping up the shards and tossing them into the trash can. Look at how accurate she is B) ]

[Temari's brow furrows as she looks over at Tenten. 'We?'] There's a dozen teapots in there at any given time. Just a matter of finding something I like.

I do have a fantastic eye for detail though. I can find you something you like eventually! [ Yep. She's insinuating that she really should go shopping with her for teapots. ]

[Wait. What?] You want to go with me to look for a teapot?

[weaponry]

I need something to do that isn't tossing around weaponry and honing my skills all day. It gets a bit redundant after the twentieth day in a row, and, I haven't trained this hard in years. But with all the free time I have and a lack of team, you'd be surprised with just how much I have. [ Kanyeshrug.

IT'S NOT LIKE SHE WANTS TO SPEND TIME WITH YOU OR ANYTHING!!!!! GOD!!! ]

[Temari rolls here eyes and looks heavenward.] Don't I know it. There's only so much I can do some days.

[Bonding over boredom.]

If I actually had something to do, I'd be able to accomplish more in three days than anyone could in three lifetimes. [ She sighs. ] This was the most exciting thing to happen all week. [ If only for that ridiculous entrance... ]

Then the boredom is punctuated by fighting for your life. One of these days, I'm just gonna snap.

If you ever do, let me know. We can probably take out three or four of those kidnapping robots together.

That wouldn't be an easy feat. [She's been on the receiving end of those kidnapping ventures.]

Well, we'll be on offense and expecting them this time. [ She remembers arriving and then hearing about you being kidnapped. ]

See, that would help if we knew when they were coming.

Would tracking them work? Or a barrier ninjutsu of sorts?

I tried setting a trap for them; they set it off but they were too fast to do much of anything about it.

Do you think my explosives would work? They'd have to evade them point blank to stand a chance but maybe they're naturally durable enough that it wouldn't affect them at all.

[dangerouswind]

[Temari drums her fingers on the counter for a moment, thinking this through.] They're pretty durable, but there's no reason not to try. At the very least, it'd buy a little time and maybe gather a little info on 'em.
